With extensive experience in business, nonprofits, higher education, and government sectors, my diverse perspective brings creative solutions to creative people.

I believe creatives enrich our lives, enlighten our society, lift our spirits, and feed our souls. I believe the arts improve the quality of life in all communities, transforming a place from merely livable to truly lovable. I believe you don't have to choose between a creative life and a prosperous one.

I have a passion for helping creatives plan, design, launch, and grow their businesses by giving them the tools and support needed to do their best work and become their best selves.

It is an honor to share what I’ve learned with you and help you in your entrepreneurial journey.

To empower creatives to build sustainable, profitable careers.
— artspreneurship mission

For the past 15 years Megan has used the arts to make the world around her a better place. In a time when nonprofit organizations are finding it more and more difficult to meet rising financial goals and community needs, Megan has dramatically increased organizations’ earned and contributed revenue.

In just two years as Executive Director, Megan has led Children’s Chorus of Greater Dallas to an unprecedented 30% increase in contributed revenue, 50% increase in subscription sales, and the second highest enrollment in the organization’s 23-year history.

Prior to her appointment with Children’s Chorus, Megan was Director of Communications, Marketing, and Public Relations for the University of North Texas College of Music where she oversaw the planning and development of all promotional materials for one of the largest and most respected comprehensive music schools in the world. She was also the Event Coordinator at the Murchison Performing Arts Center where she managed operations for a mixed-use facility including the coordination of 250 events and 700 rehearsals annually.

From 2008-2013, Megan served as a clarinetist in the Navy Music Program and was stationed in Virginia, Hawaii, and Louisiana. She was a recipient of the Pacific Fleet Command Sailor of the Quarter.

Megan holds a Master of Business Administration and a Master of Arts in Arts Management from Southern Methodist University, a Bachelor of Science in Organizational Leadership from Thomas Edison State University, and a Bachelor of Music in Music Education and a Bachelor of Arts in Education from Rowan University.
